Salmonella Bacteria

By Melon Salmonella Lawyer Tony Coveny:

There are literally thousands of strains of salmonella, such as Salmonella Braenderup or Salmonella Heidelberg.  But on top of that, within each strain there are many unique bacterial isolates,  each with a unique  pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) identifier - you see, PFGE is a laboratory technique that scientists use to come up with a DNA "fingerprint" for a particular outbreak bacteria. When investigators are looking into an outbreak, they want to first find the strain, then hone in on the PFGE so as to identify, or link, victims with this particulate PFGE even if they are on opposite sides of the nation.

Proper GMPs and HACCP

By Melon Salmonella Lawyer Tony Coveny:

Every company should employ Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMPs. They should also practice effective Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, or HACCP.  Following these critical practices, and having a corporate culture where health and safety come first, is vital to producing, consistently, safe and healthy products for the public.  In nearly every outbreak, as an experienced melon salmonella lawyer,  breakdowns in the growing, harvesting, holding, or sale of the product can be blamed for salmonella contamination.  Salmonella does not "just happen" - it is a communicable pathogen that is introduced into the food chain as human or animal feces.

By Melon Salmonella Lawyer Tony Coveny:

An experienced melon salmonella lawyer understands the science, the process of proving causation and damages, and knows what long-term medical issue may complicate recovery.  Some victims recover quickly with no long term side-effects, but others suffer post infectious IBD, post infectious IBS, or reactive arthritis for years to come.  The vast majority of Salmonella claims are handled with the insurance companies without the necessity of a lawsuit, but at times, a Melon Salmonella lawsuit is necessary to force the companies to take responsibility for producing a product that hurt the public.
